The Grand National 2023 Preview!!
Thursday Apr 13, 2023
Thursday Apr 13, 2023
Charlie thought he had managed to escape the jumps for another season… but, as you will see this week, how wrong he was!
This latest episode for you covers the most watched and biggest betting race of the year in the Grand National at Aintree. Traditionally a fiendishly difficult handicap puzzle to solve, the lads have got stuck into the analysis and have a few darts to throw which, inevitably, include some juicy prices so listen in to find out who…
Elsewhere on the card for Saturday, both the boys have strong best bets at current prices of 4/1 and 9/2 on what looks to be an intriguing of day racing.
Whatever happens, Saturday’s action will not be one to miss and nor is this podcast episode.
Last thing, if you are feeling kind, please give this podcast a share - any and all support goes a long way for us so we really appreciate it.
Good luck to all this weekend and bring on the Grand National!
XOXO,
The Midas Touches

EPISODE 46:
Guests are officially back on The Midas Touches podcast and, as you know, we do not do things in half measures, so back with a bang it is.
This week the lads welcome on the show Josh Stacey (aka The Racing Josh), one of the up-and-coming stars of the broadcasting racing world, to hopefully shed some light on this weekend’s racing action.
Not only that, but Josh is known as a bit of a Cheltenham specialist (to say the least) and so has kindly offered to give some insight into his best bets for the Festival no less.
The feature this weekend is the Ascot Chase but there is no shortage of top-class action across the country, so this is definitely worth a listen if you want all the key info on the racing.
Please like, share, subscribe if you have not already done so and we hope to see you all next week.

Betfair Hurdle, England lost the Calcutta Cup, Warwick, Newbury & more...
Thursday Feb 09, 2023
Thursday Feb 09, 2023
Tris has called this “one of his favourite weekends of the year…” and if he is referring to the 7pm at Wolves on Saturday, then Charlie is in absolute agreement as he thinks he has found one in that race 👀
Either way, the lads can’t exactly complain of a lack of racing. There are Grade 2s at both Newbury and Warwick as well as the Betfair Hurdle and that’s all on top of the aforementioned Class 2 at Wolverhampton!
The Betfair Hurdle can be a bit of a minefield for punters so Tris and Charlie are here to guide you through to, hopefully, land the spoils… only one way to find out 😉

Wednesday Feb 01, 2023
Hello, or top of the morning to our Irish fans - welcome back to The Midas Touches.
This week we’ve got Grade 1 action coming out of our ears as the Dublin Racing Festival takes place at Leopardstown over the weekend. The big question is, of course, will Tris and Charlie be brave enough to take on Willie Mullins in his back yard (probably not but who can blame them really ).
Whatever the case, this is an episode worth listening to as the lads clue you up on the runners and riders over the Irish Sea (depending on where you live, of course).
Another week, another episode. If you liked this one, or the podcast generally, please give us a like / share / follow / all of the above on socials - it always means a lot to us!
Until next time, thanks for listening and we’ll be back before you know it!
XOXO,

The Midas Touches are back for 2023 and after an outstanding end to 2022 for the podcast, Tris and Charlie are looking to continue the form into the new year…
In this episode, they cover racing from Kempton including the feature Lanzarote Hurdle and Warwick where they host a couple of Grade 2s. There is also a strong selection from the all-weather at Lingfield (of course) for the degens out there.
Can they continue the red-hot form… only one way to find out! Whatever happens this weekend, 2023 is a very exciting year for the podcast!

FESTIVE RACING PREVIEW FEAT. ITV RACING'S OLI BELL
Christmas is of course a time for giving but, for fans of the podcast, you do not have to wait until Christmas Day as here is the latest instalment of The Midas Touches complete with a whole host of bankers for the festive racing (we hope 😉).
This Christmas, Tris and Charlie cover the key action across Boxing Day and the 27th including the King George VI at Kempton and the Welsh National at Chepstow.
But as if that wasn't good enough, they have also drafted in the help of friend of the podcast, Oli Bell, who successfully tipped Tornado Flyer in the King George last year at 28/1, to give his verdict on the racing too.
So, whether you're cooking the Christmas turkey, opening presents, indulging in a mince pie and a glass of wine, stick on this episode and treat yourself to THE rundown of the festive racing action.
Merry Christmas one and all!

Another week, another episode!
Will we see the return of friend of the podcast, Constitution Hill, up at Newcastle? Is it officially coming home (again)? Is the Pope catholic? So many questions to be answered this week but do not fear, the lads have all the answers you need (at least they think they do)!
Tune in this week for opinion on all the latest talking points in racing and beyond along with selections for the jumps action at Newcastle & Newbury which includes the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle.
Any likes, comments, shares always appreciated 🥰
